Frontier Development’s park-builder game, Jurassic World Evolution, has turned two years old today. It is hard to believe that this game, alongside Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, are now officially over two years old – bringing two years of interesting and engaging content for Jurassic fans of all ages.
Whilst Jurassic World Evolution does seem to be wrapping up its production cycle currently, it is safe to say that this game has been a big part of our passion for the Jurassic franchise for the past two years. The Jurassic Park Podcast have been lucky enough to get to be heavily involved in this game. We’ve covered news like the addition of the Nasutoceratops in August last year, have got to visit the studios and go behind the scenes, and have even got to organise fun meetups for fans in the UK.
We’ve got a few pieces of fun Jurassic World Evolution content that you can enjoy today:
You can check out ‘Dino Fact Fridays’ – our new, short-format series highlight the dinosaurs of Isla Sorna. Click here to access the playlist.
You can check out Steve’s fantastic playthrough of Return to Jurassic Park – the classic DLC which revisits the classic Jurassic Park. Click here to view the series.
You can even check out our first trip to Frontier Developments – before Jurassic World Evolution released. Click here to watch this video.
We’ve also been speaking to the team of Frontier ahead of today, and have been informed that they will have lots of exciting giveaways going on over on Twitter throughout the day today. Make sure to check out the official Twitter account for JWE, as we are sure there will be some great prize packs for you to win! We also hear that something may be coming to the Frontier Forums, so keep an eye on them too!
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Frontier for their hard work, their passion and their enthusiasm when it comes to not just Evolution, but for the franchise as a whole. On a personal note, they have been the first games developer that I have had the opportunity to cross paths with, and I have always been overwhelmed by how friendly, how engaged and how enthusiastic they are. Their developers are some of the best and most passionate Jurassic fans I have had the pleasure to meet on this journey so far – and I hope to continue to work with them on many more exciting projects in the future.
Head over and wish them a happy birthday wherever you interact with them on Social Media, and stay tuned for more from us throughout Jurassic June.
