After much speculation and heavy hinting from current cast members, Colin Trevorrow has revealed the return of the big three from the original Jurassic Park film - Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum! During the ArcLight Jurassic World screening and Q&A featuring Jurassic World 3 writer Emily Carmichael, and Battle At Big Rock composer Amie Doherty, Colin revealed the three cast members will be returning for the third installment in the Jurassic World series.
According to Collider, Colin also hinted that the returning roles will be sizable! That is extremely exciting news for everyone hoping for a bit more than Goldblum’s cameo in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom! Will they overshadow the story of Claire and Owen? Time will tell, but I at least hope to see a good balance of new and old from director Colin Trevorrow.
It’s impossible to tell what story they will tell with the Jurassic Park cast members - Does Ian Malcolm become a villain? Does Dr. Alan Grant still dig up dinosaur bones?
