Announcing A New Initiative to Bring Jurassic Fans Together During Difficult Times: #StaySafeStayJurassic

It’s safe to say that right now, we are facing unprecedented times. The world we live in is never going to be the same again – and, for many of us, it is going to be an incredibly difficult few months. Periods of self-isolation taking place all over the world can lead to many of us beginning to feel lonely – and this, in turn, can have a detrimental impact on our mental health and wellbeing. We have decided to take proactive steps to bring Jurassic fans together during this challenging time by creating a unique new hashtag - #StaySafeStayJurassic.

The goal of this hashtag is two-fold. We want to encourage you to actively self-isolate so that we can all provide our emergency workers and care workers with the space they need to do their jobs efficiently. We also want to take this opportunity to unify Jurassic fans – and encourage them to use the engaging mediums of social media to tackle social isolation head on so that we can all continue to feel socially engaged and, crucially, we can keep in touch with one another.

So, whilst we are all at home self-isolating, why don’t we share the Jurassic activities we are up to under this shared hashtag? It could be anything – from toy photography with Mattel products in your garden or in your house, to short cinematics filmed within Jurassic World Evolution, to your thoughts as you are re-watching the films! It doesn’t have to be anything major. Our hope is that these small steps to tackle social isolation during this difficult period will help to make people feel like a real and engaged part of the community – and will help us all to pass through this difficult period unscathed.

To do our bit to help facilitate this, we are going to devote a portion of this website to being a live page of Jurassic-themed and dinosaur-themed resources which you can access whilst you are at home. We will keep the page LIVE – meaning you can contact us suggestions to add to it so we can update it over time via the form below! Feel free to contact us with ideas and we will review all suggested material.

So, look through the resources we have on our site by clicking the announcement bar at the top of the website or by clicking the image below. We hope you can find something to do, stay healthy and of course – stay safe, stay Jurassic!
