Jurassic World Dominion LEGO Sets Revealed | What Secrets Lie Within?

Thanks to Universal and LEGO, we have our first official look at a few Jurassic World Dominion sets featuring brand new characters names, film tie-ins and interesting set-pieces! The LEGO sets below are ready to debut ahead of Jurassic World Dominion, on April 17th online and in stores.

Let’s start off with one of the more interesting sets - 76948 LEGO® Jurassic World T. rex & Atrociraptor Dinosaur Breakout - featuring an Atrociraptor, a T. rex, a transport truck, Owen Grady, Claire Dearing and the introduction of two brand new characters - Soyona Santos and Rainn Delacourt.

This is an interesting set overall, as it features a market set piece and enclosure for the T. rex, along with two new characters for Jurassic World Dominion. It’s a safe bet that Soyona Santos is the character played by Dichen Lachman, but who could Rainn Delacourt be? It could be Scott Haze, but it seems better suited for someone like Cokey Falkow, who is listed as “Hunter” on IMDB. Either way, it’s a fun set that you can pick up for $79.99.

Next up, we have 76946 LEGO® Jurassic World Blue & Beta Velociraptor Capture for $29.99. Finally, Blue is looking like herself with a better color scheme than previous sets and we get our first official reveal of the name “Beta” for the baby raptor by Blue’s side. It’s been seen in other leaks, but nothing official until this moment.

This is a set that you can actually spot the moment within the trailer for Jurassic World Dominion. In the trailer we see Beta poking at a dead animal, when snow erupts around her. It looks to be a trap set for the baby dinosaur. You can also spot the truck from this set barreling towards Blue as she reacts to her ensnared baby. Rainn Delacourt seems like a character on the move in this film, going from Northern California and potentially traversing out to black markets in Malta. Take all these theories with a grain of salt until we see the story trailer and film.

Next up, we have the 76945 LEGO® Jurassic World Atrociraptor Dinosaur: Bike Chase, which once again features Rainn Delacourt, Owen Grady, another Atrociraptor and a fun little play set featuring 2 baby raptors.

This set goes for $19.99 and certain features a fun interactive set! You have a ghostly looking Atrociraptor that can bust through the market, you can maybe buy an amber piece or two and see what kind of cool color schemes you can find on the smallest raptors. We’ve seen Compys caged in set pictures from Jurassic World Dominion, so is this a similar set-piece within the film? It seems likely.

This next set makes me wonder how much it plays into the film, as we see a new T. rex design that differs from our favorite rex - Rexy. Keep an eye on 76944 LEGO® Jurassic World T. rex Dinosaur Breakout to see how it all plays out.

For $49.99, you get the return of fan favorite Zia Rodriguez, a green rex, the Department of Fish and Wildlife’s chopper and more! I’m ready to see if there’s a green rex breaking into an airfield to reclaim her egg in the film.

Another set on the list features Owen Grady and Maisie settling in for a bit of fishing when they get attacked by a Pteranodon in the 76943 LEGO® Jurassic World Pteranodon Chase.

For $19.99, you can build a dock, fish stall, a vehicle and have that all attacked by a blue Pteranodon. It’s a fun small set and certainly nice to see Owen in that Red flannel from the trailer for Jurassic World Dominion.

One of the coolest sets you’ll see today is the 76947 LEGO® Jurassic World Quetzalcoatlus Plane Ambush. For $39.99, you can tear off the engines with you Quetzalcoatlus and see how well newly revealed character Kayla Watts can handle the descent.

It’s very gratifying to finally have the name Kayla Watts out in the wild and it breathes life into everything we’ve seen from Dewanda Wise in the trailer for Jurassic World Dominion. This set is a must have for that Quetz design alone, but I can’t help but get excited for the plane as well.

Lastly, we can reveal a brand new DUPLO set - 10938 LEGO® DUPLO® Dinosaur Nursery. This one features Claire Dearing in her Jurassic World attire and a few of her Dino friends.

Look at how cute those babies are!!! These sets are always some of the most fun for me and my family. We have several of them already, so we’ll certainly be adding this incredibly cute set to the collection!
