If you missed out on a chance to attend the upcoming Generation Jurassic then don’t worry – as two friends of the Podcast based in Orlando have got you covered! Joshua Malone and Officially Emi have come together to organize a fun day out for fans at Universal Studios Orlando – known as ‘Dinosaurs Are Universal’.

“Neither of us could make the Generation Jurassic event sadly and noticed that there were a lot of people in the mid-west and east coast who couldn't. Emi and I were also a little sad that only Hollywood has been doing these special Jurassic events for the last few years and so we just talked about why couldn't there be something at Orlando?
It's the perfect place, honestly ,because a.) there's an entire Jurassic Park land here so there's a ton to do, b.) it'll be the one-year anniversary of VelociCoaster, and C.) we have a cinema that does the Thursday releases.”
“So, we went ahead and just planned this on our own. It's not, like, an official event (at the moment) but it'll be the first big Jurassic event or gathering of this kind that I can ever remember.
We will start at 10 am at the parks. We're encouraging people to dress up as characters or in Jurassic-centric attire (as long as it abides by Universal Orlando's rules.) We will start the day with celebrating VelociCoaster's ONE year by riding it, then afterwards people will be allowed to roam Jurassic and have fun and do rides, the Raptor Encounter, eat, explore Camp Jurassic, whatever they want to do- just have a dino mite day basically!”
“The trickiest part right now is the cinema/movie aspect. Tickets for Dominion haven't dropped yet and I don't begin to have enough monies to reserve the Cinemark on property. So once tickets go on sale people will need to hop on ASAP to buy tickets. I'm predicting the first showing will ve at 7pm because that's when they usually do the first early screening but if there's one before we will adjust!!

We were so excited to see Joshua and Emi organising this event. Jurassic is best when it is celebrated with the communities and people who enrich this film and this franchise so much for so many of us, so we are delighted to see that the two of them have decided to address people who may have felt left out by pulling something together. Coming from someone who has organised meet-ups in the past, a lot more goes into them then people may realise, so I truly admire Joshua and Emi for stepping up to organise this and hope that if you’re reading this, you will help to support them by sharing this event around!
