Take A Closer Look At Universal Studios Beijing's Jurassic World Ride

After what feels like an eternity of production news and developments, we finally have our first Point-Of-View look at the BRAND NEW Jurassic World Adventure which takes centre stage in Universal Studios Beijing - courtesy of the Universal Studios THAILAND FANCLUB YouTube Channel.

We’ll talk a little bit more about the ride below but we just want to say, right off the bat, that this ride looks absolutely incredible. The idea to make this a dark ride for the most part is incredibly smart as it really plays into the fear and suspense which the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World franchises have used so well - creating something which is truly a treat for fans of the franchise.

The dark ride appears to take us through a scenario inspired by the breakout of the Indominus Rex in Jurassic World - with a storm rapidly rolling in on Isla Nublar and causing the park to fall into a state of chaos. The initial shots of wonder and awe are quickly replaced with terror, as we find ourselves hunted by the Indominus before we eventually make it to the climatic Main Street battle and make it out intact - just about!

It’s clear that a lot of work has gone in throughout this ride to really make it worthy of the centrepiece attraction which it will be for the Beijing park. There has been a great deal of money invested in props and theming throughout this ride. We couldn’t pick out much in the video - but we did notice the Indominus Rex Paddock, an Ankylosaurus Animatronic, a easter-egg for the East Dock sign and even Textron Tiger armoured vehicle which In-Gen troops use in the later half of Jurassic World. It is clear a lot of money was spent to get this right - and the results are stunning.

We’re really excited for this new ride, and the accompanying Jurassic World land which we will be able to explore in Beijing. It is safe to say that this is going to be a location which every Jurassic fan is going to want to visit for the ultimate Jurassic World experience.
