It's been a little while since Jurassic World: The Exhibition has been on our minds, even as the show has been running smoothly in Paris for nearly 5 months - but it's time in the city of love is coming to a close on September 2nd, 2018. It's closure in Paris paves way for it's re-opening in Madrid, Spain - feasibly sometime within the three months after September 2nd. GREAT NEWS for Jurassic fans in and around Madrid! No word just yet on where we can expect the Exhibition to debut, but we'll let you know as soon as we find out!
Also via the announcement from Cityneon (the owner of the Exhibition), after Madrid, Jurassic World: The Exhibition is looking to head to North Asia! I would assume it could end up in China, where Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has grossed well over $200 million!
So, while it was announced that Cityneon is pushing the limits with Jurassic World: The Exhibition and adding a second set to the line-up, we might end up seeing the Exhibition back in the states by the time Jurassic World 3 comes around.
The Exhibition previous stopped in Philadelphia and Chicago here in the U.S., and it's looking like Las Vegas will be the next stop once the second set (JW2) is built. All of that is quite a bit off, as Fallen Kingdom only recently released and we have a 3 year wait until Jurassic World 3.
The final bit of information to parse would be a short quote on further potential sets.
So as mentioned earlier, JW2 is set to open in Las Vegas in 2021, so this quote would lead you to believe that a further two fully built sets will be coming in the future (JW3 & JW4). There are plenty of cities around the world missing out on the Jurassic World traveling exhibition experience, so four potential sets sounds fulfilling. Is it on the verge of overload? Potentially, but I think the world is enamored with giant, moving dinosaurs - so BRING IT ON!
