Well, there you have it folks - Jurassic World: Dominion! Wow. The third Jurassic World film and sixth in the series officially has the subtitle Dominion. That’s a bit unexpected, as all signs seemed to point towards Jurassic World: New Era. Colin Trevorrow shared the above image on twitter, stating, “Day One”.
I’m all for it! It sounds EPIC. It sounds oppressive. It sounds like this is going to be one heck of a film.
Other things to note here is the inclusion of snow within the image. “Day One” starts off cold and with a potentially very different environment for the Jurassic franchise. Is this a fake out, like the beginning of Jurassic World, or was the beginning of that film foreshadowing dinosaurs in the snow? Let’s hope we get to see how dinosaurs react in the cold, after years and years of tropical paradise.
