Jurassic June is coming to a close - and it has been an incredible month filled with lots of content around the Jurassic Community. We wanted to take a moment to highlight some more pieces of content which we have loved throughout the month as we look ahead to the future beyond Jurassic June.
Thank you to everyone who has made this month so enjoyable. This Community is the wonderful place it is because of YOU.
At the top of this I wanted to take a moment to highlight the incredibly fun eight-hour livestream which Brad and I got to put together to end-cap Jurassic June. We were joined by an incredibly diverse cohort of wonderful people, and we both had a lot of fun embracing all things Jurassic. You can rewatch the livestream via the link below.
Steven NES kicked off Jurassic June by sharing a look at his paperback copy of Jurassic Park which he has had since 4th Grade! How long have you owned your copy of the novel for?
Adventure Collectibles shared a sneak peek at many of the prop replicas he owns throughout Jurassic June - including an assortment of the great wristwatch replicas he owns. Nedry’s, in particular, boasts an incredibly interesting design which captures his character perfectly!
Adamus Prime created some Sea Shanties inspired by the Jurassic franchise! It’s safe to say we fell into the sea shanty craze when Wellerman was popular - so it’s awesome to see some fun Jurassic takes!
Rob Welcher has been working on a really cool recreation of the Computer Screens which we see in the Control Room in the original Jurassic Park. We always love seeing cool recreations of things from the films and this has an awesome level of detail packed into it!
Natalie Lucia (leiaaurora from Instagram) has been embracing Jurassic June with some fun posts throughout the month - including a closer look at a GORGEOUS homemade Jurassic Park scarf. This might be the best lockdown project we’ve seen!
Ryan Green published his latest fan film - Gametrail - during the Jurassic June period. Check out this adventure below and remember - Dinosaurs are in our world now!
Jurassic Bap continued to release a series of killer Jurassic Park photographs using Mattel’s figures - with this gorgeous shot perfectly capturing the brand new Ford Explorer set. We CANNOT WAIT to get our hands on this one!
Friends of the Podcast Brenna and Steven are spending Jurassic June in Hawaii - meaning they are LITERALLY on Isla Nublar. Is there any better way to spend this month?
Roberto has been working on the 3rd Draft for a fan film which they plan to take to principal photography in July. We’re big fans of Jurassic fan films and cannot wait to see more
Friend of the show Muzzammil shared some fan posters throughout the month and also got to visit Universal Orlando - experiencing the new Jurassic World tribute store and also riding the classic River Adventure! We’re jealous!
Osiris created a beautiful rendition of the Dilophosaurus - one of our favourite dinosaurs from the original film. Here’s hoping that the Spitter makes a triumphant return in next year’s Jurassic World Dominion!
Benny T over on Twitter shared an absoloutely incredible Jurassic World Evolution video titled ‘Walk Down Petticoat Lane’ - complete with VO from John Hammond! Make sure to check it out and subscribe to Benny’s YouTube channel.
Jurassic Collectables shared a fun look at some Jurassic Park merchandise which he has been saving for Jurassic June - and this video did not disappoint, with some great nostalgic items!
All month long, Jurassic Addict has been sharing some fantastic toy photography using Mattel’s figures - and we got to end Jurassic June with this wonderful rendition of the iconic Brachiosaurus scene. We love it!
Derrick Davis has been re-highlighting his fantastic work exploring Rick Carter’s Adaptation of Jurassic Park. Derrick’s projects always bring the community together so make sure to go and check out his work and subscribe to his channel!
Parth Sarthi Pandey was able to publish their book, ‘When Dinosaurs Ruled’, over the Jurassic June period. Is there any greater accomplishment then publishing a dinosaur book during Jurassic June? We think not!

We wanted to end by shouting out the Cretaceous Dad - who shared this picture with us recently. There is nothing more wholesome than seeing young Jurassic fans being raised by parents who share their passion for Dinosaurs. This put a huge smile on our faces this Jurassic June.
